Designer fragrance names referenced on LayerDen are trademarks of their respective owners. LayerDen is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any fragrance house.
LayerDen (“we”, “us”) operates layerden.club. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, how we use and protect it, and the rights you have. Questions or requests? Email n.dutton.business@gmail.com.
To provide and secure the service, authenticate you, sync your collection across devices, manage your membership, respond to support, understand aggregate usage, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations. Where required (e.g. under the GDPR), our legal bases are performance of our contract with you, your consent, and our legitimate interests in running and protecting the service.
We keep you signed in using browser local storage (a strictly-necessary, functional mechanism), not advertising cookies. Google may set cookies on its own domain during sign-in, and Lemon Squeezy during checkout, under their respective policies. Our analytics providers are configured to be cookie-light / privacy-friendly. If you follow an affiliate link, the destination retailer (e.g. Amazon) may set its own cookies — see that retailer’s policy.
Subscriptions are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our Merchant of Record. They handle billing and store your payment details under their own privacy policy — we never see or store your card number.
We share the minimum data needed with processors who run the service on our behalf: Supabase (database & authentication), Lemon Squeezy (payments), Google (sign-in), and Vercel (hosting & analytics). We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we only disclose it otherwise when required by law or to protect our rights and users.
Our providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where required, such transfers rely on appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) offered by those providers.
We keep account and membership data while your account is active and as needed to provide the service, meet legal and accounting obligations, and resolve disputes. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete or anonymise your personal data except where we must retain limited records (e.g. for billing or legal reasons).
Depending on where you live (including under the GDPR and California’s CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. We do not sell or “share” personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising. To exercise any right, email n.dutton.business@gmail.com and we will respond within the time required by law. You may also cancel your subscription anytime from the customer portal, and signing out clears your session on that device.
We use reputable providers and reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
LayerDen is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
